Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts

A group committed to helping boys grow into good citizens who are strong in character and personally fit.  Boys earn merit badges based on the knowledge and skills they have acquired through fun activities.

Family Life Commission Annual Events

We host several parish-wide events throughout the year including the Parish Picnic and Saint Leo Feast Day Dinner.  Planning and hosting these events are wonderful opportunities for fellowship and fun!

Knights of Columbus

An international fraternal organization founded in 1882 to help Catholic men remain steadfast in their faith through mutual encouragement.  The Knights’ programs and services include fundraising, social activities, sports events and parish projects. Upcoming Events: St. Leo's Valentine's Dance - Saturday, February 10th, 6:00 - 11:00 pm; $30 per person with all proceeds benefiting the LAMB Foundation. Saint Theresa Guild

A women’s organization focused on furthering the spiritual, social and financial welfare of Saint Leo parish along with various needs in the Winston-Salem community.  This group is involved in community service, fundraising activities, and social and educational events. Weather Policy: If St. Leo School is cancelled due to weather we will not meet.  

Upcoming Meeting: January 22nd at 1:00 pm - Meeting at Catholic Charities, 1612 14th Street in Winston-Salem. This meeting is our annual Baby Shower meeting and we will provide baby shower items to those in need at Catholic Charities. Bring your shower gifts with you to the meeting. Current needs: baby wipes, diapers (size 4-5 pull-ups), 3-6 month clothing and gift cards to Walmart or Target (no cash please). There will be a tour of their new facility and refreshments. Our hostesses for the day will be Addie Ann Edwards and Maureen Fraser. We hope to see you there!

WWME Share Group: St. Leo’s is proud to host a WWME Share Group for all couples who have completed a World Wide Marriage Encounter Weekend. The share group meets the first Saturday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Msgr. Showfety room at St. Leo’s Church. All Encountered couples are welcome to join us for a casual evening to give your relationship some time and energy. It does not matter if you were encountered a month ago or 20+ years ago, all are welcome!  You do not have to be a St. Leo’s Parish member.
